On May 10, the Ranchette Putters hosted the Quail Creek Putters for a tournament here at the Ranch. Quail Creek arrived with a busload of Putters to start the event promptly at 9:30 a.m. The event committee greeted all putters with leis to start the Hawaiian-themed event. We even had a few dressed for the occasion with hula skirts and coconuts. You know where the coconuts were worn.
Songs and cheers by Team No. 12 with Ranchettes Donna Lura, Lisa Richards, and Stacey Raaf made for a lively round of putting.
Putters walked over to the Ranch House Grill for a wonderful Hawaiian lunch of pulled pork and pineapple lettuce wraps. A special Hawaiian drink made by the Ranch House was also available for purchase.
Our President Susie Morrill welcomed everyone and introduced the Event Chair Vicki Thomson and her committee who worked hard to put on the tournament. Janet Wegner, president of Quail Creek Lady Putters, was introduced and thanked for bringing the Quail Creek Putters to our tournament.
