SaddleBrooke Ranch ARTwalk Is Back!

Linda Shannon-Hills

The SaddleBrooke Artists are preparing their art for the upcoming SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) ARTwalk on Saturday, Oct. 23, and Sunday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. To help residents see some of the artists work before the ARTwalk, we have established a closed-group SBR ARTwalk Artists Facebook group. Only residents and artists of SBR are allowed in the group, and artists of the 2021 SBR ARTwalk can post photographs of their art for SBR residents.

If you are interested in seeing their work, log into Facebook and search for SBRARTWALKARTISTS to join the page. You will be asked if you live in SaddleBrooke Ranch.

If you have trouble finding this group, follow these instructions: Once on Facebook, in the top left corner you will see a blue circle with a lowercase “f.” Next to this circle is another circle in grey with a magnifier symbol. Click on this circle to get a larger box where you can type SBR ARTwalk Artists. When a list pops up, you can click on the link to ask to join. When asked if you live at SaddleBrooke Ranch, answer “yes.”

The SBR ARTwalk is an open-studio tour, inviting SaddleBrooke Ranch residents to visit the talented artists living within our community. Residents can stroll, cart, or drive to meet a variety of artists and view their work. Artists will also be in the Creative Arts and Technology Center. Many of the artists will be selling their work—a good time to purchase those special holiday gifts.

The event will be promoted to only SaddleBrooke Ranch residents, but you may invite outside friends to join you as you tour the various studios.

Most artists will take cash or check for the items they are selling. Only a few will also take a credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

The maps and directory of artists will be available by email, or you can pick up a printed copy at the Ranch House front desk by Friday, Oct. 15.

If you are an artist and would like to participate with your art or craft, we will take registrations until Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m. Contact Linda Shannon-Hills at [email protected] or 970-389-5131 for a registration form.
