Microsoft Word: You can already write a letter, type up a recipe, create a story or essay, or write an article for the Roundup, why do you need to know more? There are so many tips and tricks to enhance your usage of Microsoft Word. Join the workshop offered by the SBR Technology Club titled “Word–Tips and Tricks” being offered on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. held in the Tech Room located in the Creative Arts and Technology Center. Requirements are to have a solid working knowledge of Word. Computers are available in the room, but bring your laptops to follow along on your own machine. The workshop is only for Tech Club members at no charge, and you must register to attend. Visit the Tech Club website at sbrtechnology.club. Once you have logged into the webpage, click on “Member Login” at the top right corner of the website. From there, you can check out the calendar.
Microsoft Excel: Excel has you baffled … the budget you created is not balancing correctly, and maybe you need a brush-up on Microsoft Excel functions and features. An Excel class is being held in the SBR Technology Club room on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. The class is for members of the Tech Club at no charge, but we need to have you register for the class, so we have enough computers and learning materials.
