Save the Date: Golder Ranch Fire District to Visit SBR

Linda Harvey

Golder Ranch Fire District (GRFD) members are more than firefighters. As many of us have experienced, GRFD provides emergency medical assistance and transport, removes snakes from our property, and can change the batteries in our smoke detectors, just to name a few services. To get to know our trusted partner, you are invited to attend an upcoming presentation and open discussion with Golder Ranch Fire District, hosted by Ranch Talks, for all residents of SaddleBrooke Ranch on Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. in the Ranch House Ballroom.

Come meet Assistant Chief Scott Robb and Anne-Marie Braswell, the community relations manager, to learn more about GRFD, what’s new, upcoming plans for the GFRD station near SBR, and the role the fire department has in our lives here at SBR. Also, hear about their emergency program of READY, SET, GO.

Braswell will also have information on the Residential Lockbox Program (read more on page 13).

They also have brochures about EMS Membership, a way to protect you and your loved ones from the unexpected cost of emergency ambulance transport.

Our friends at Golder Ranch are a major part of the SaddleBrooke Ranch community. Stay informed with Golder Ranch at their website. Visit grfdaz.gov for more information.

Ranch Talks is a service to SaddleBrooke Ranch community led by Linda Shannon-Hills. We arrange for speakers on a variety of topics of interest to the residents. The topics include wildlife, desert seasons, authors, and much more. Look for announcements of upcoming talks in the Roundup, Monday Ranch Reminders, NextDoor, and SBR Facebook. Ideas for topics can be sent to Linda Shannon-Hills at [email protected].
