Join the Saddlebrooke Ranch GOP Club for our monthly meeting on March 16, at 3:30 p.m., in the La Mesa and La Montana Rooms at the Hacienda Clubhouse. This month, the Arizona Republican Party Chair, Kelli Ward, will discuss local, state, and national issues in the upcoming elections.
The Republican Club meetings occur once a month on the third Monday. Beginning in April, we will move into the Sol Ballroom and start our meetings a half hour earlier, at 3 p.m.
On April 20, agents of the Department of Homeland Security Immigration & Customs Enforcement will address the topic of human trafficking.
In May (the 18th), our Legislative District (LD) 8 representatives will provide us with a legislative update on the most recent Arizona laws. Additionally, Claire Morgan, a constitutional scholar and teacher, will discuss the recent assaults on the Electoral College.
On June 15, you will have an opportunity to meet and ask questions of your Pinal County Officials in a panel discussion. These include the Assessor, County Attorney, Sheriff, Recorder, Treasurer, School Superintendent, and Clerk of the Superior Court.
Future programs and events may include speakers from Arizona Convention of States; Arizona Citizens Defense League; other candidates for local and state elections; Cathi Herrod of Center for Arizona Policy, and more.
There will be a short business meeting prior to Ms. Ward’s presentation. Agenda items will include expanding our membership, open seats on the Board, and plans to Get Out the Vote. The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. The candidates will start around 4 p.m. Bring friends and neighbors to learn about these important issues, and help grow our club membership.
