The SaddleBrooke Ranch Women’s Golf Association (SBRWGA) kicked off their first Coyote Queen tournament. This tournament is in honor of our sponsor, Coyote Golf Cars, who has generously sponsored this event for the past two years. This year the format has changed to a tournament every other month where the net winner will be awarded the title of Coyote Queen.
Congratulations to our very first “Coyote Queen” Mary Fung. Mary had 43 Stableford points and won in a scorecard playoff with an impressive 23 points on the back nine.
1st Flight winners: 1st place, Kathy Brennan 41; 2nd place, Melanie Timberlake 40; 3rd place, Mary Snowden 38.
2nd Flight winners: 1st place, tie, Mary Fung and Carol Ericksen 43; 3rd place, Carol Mihal 39.
3rd Flight winners: 1st place, tie, Lorraine Smith and Sue Wells 43; 3rd place, Marci Whitehead 39.
4th Flight winners: 1st place, Nancy Galant 39; 2nd place, Phyllis Pettijohn 38; 3rd place, Bonnie Stark 35.
We want to thank Cheryl Reddy, who hosted a pizza party at her home after the tournament, and Mindy Hawkins who took photos of this fun event. Also, a huge thank you to Coyote Golf Cars for their generosity in supporting this event and to the women golfers.
