The Ranch Mixology Club recently teed up one of its most entertaining gatherings yet, transforming an ordinary evening into a lively tribute to the classic golf comedy Caddyshack. With creativity on full display, members arrived dressed as their favorite characters, instantly setting a playful tone filled with laughter, nostalgia, and plenty of memorable one-liners.
From the moment guests walked in, it was clear this was no ordinary cocktail event. Tables were cleverly decorated with golf-themed centerpieces—complete with tees, Baby Ruth bar, “golf balls,” and even a familiar face or two from the film—bringing the spirit of the movie to life. The attention to detail created an atmosphere that was equal parts festive and immersive.
Of course, the true stars of the evening were the cocktails. Staying true to the theme, the club served up a creative lineup inspired by iconic characters. The Carl Spackler Spicy Margarita delivered a bold kick, much like the eccentric groundskeeper himself, while Al Czervik’s Pink Cadillac added a smooth, vibrant twist that proved to be a crowd favorite. And in honor of the film’s most mischievous character, the “Exploding Gopher Punch” brought both fun and flavor to the mix—thankfully without any actual explosions.
Beyond the themed drinks and costumes, the evening also embraced a spirit of generosity. Members were invited to participate in a special raffle by donating gently used golf equipment. These contributions will benefit First Tee, an organization dedicated to empowering young people through character-building programs centered around the game of golf. It was a meaningful addition to an already spirited event, giving attendees a chance to give back while enjoying the festivities.
