The Sonoran Singers is looking for a new director

Carolyn Cochran

Sonoran Singers, an all-volunteer SaddleBrooke women’s chorus, is looking for a new director! Our leader, Sue Robisch, is moving to Sedona, and we will miss her! Under Sue’s leadership the group has grown to 30 ladies who love to sing! We meet for rehearsal on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 to 5:00 in the Sonoran Room of MountainView Country Club. In fact, some often gather for continued conversation in the Bistro after rehearsals! We have a grand time each week, singing fun music, enjoying fellowship and building friendships. We sing a variety of musical styles and present light, entertaining programs throughout the community. This is an ensemble of great singers, looking now for a new leader! Ideally that person will be someone with musical group experience, a love for music and enthusiasm for spreading joy through singing. If you think you might be that person, please call Carolyn Cochran at 825-2162 to explore the possibilities and visit with our search committee. A warm welcome is guaranteed! Also, new singers are always welcome. Come to a rehearsal and see if this is an activity you would enjoy. Indeed, singing is good for both body and soul! Spread the word, share the joy and keep a song in your heart!
