The hot weather can take a toll on us at the Ranch. Many have escaped to cooler temps. Our league, SaddleBrooke Ranch Women’s Golf Association (SBRWGA), normally sends out 60+ players on Tuesdays. With the high temps, our numbers are down. We are so proud of the 40-44 players who pack up fluids, sunscreen, and golf hats and defy the temperatures to compete in the weekly games. Tournaments for our club are on hiatus. To keep our competitive spirits going, some members ventured away from the Ranch to play the Beach Bums Tournament at MountainView. The format is “sometimes you shoot for the green; sometimes you shoot for the beach; and watch out for the sharks.” We welcome September when our tournaments are in full swing for the fall/winter season.
