Have you been wondering what Voices in the Oaks (VIO) has been up to all summer?
Voices in the Oaks transitioned to an independent organization with exciting plans for the future and a focus on continuing to provide a fun and inclusive singing experience right here in Oracle. SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) residents represent almost half of the chorus and starting this fall, the SBR Sol Ballroom is their exclusive performance location!
Mark your calendars and join us on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m. in the Sol Ballroom for a concert celebrating America’s musical heritage. Meg Palermo, our artistic director, will lead us in a tribute to the American roots of music, exploring swing, gospel, pop, western folk, broadway, and spiritual works, and a special piece for our armed services veterans. General admission is $20. Students get in free with ID. Tickets will be available in advance from VIO singers, through the website, and at the door.
Interested in singing with us? We welcome all singers, whether novice or seasoned. Rehearsals start in November to perform selections from Handel’s Messiah on Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. here in the Sol Ballroom and our Spring Season will start in January 2025.
