Welcome to the 22 new homeowners who moved to SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) in May 2022. We are happy to welcome you to our beautiful community. If you haven’t heard, there is a wonderful welcome program for all new residents, and you are invited to participate. The program consists of resident volunteers who share information about SaddleBrooke Ranch from a resident’s point of view based on what has been found to be important when moving into the community. We want to share the best ways to become connected to the community and with other residents. The sooner a homeowner learns their way around, the sooner they can begin to enjoy their new life.
The first thing all new residents should do is stop by the Front Desk located in the Ranch House near the ballroom entrance to introduce themselves to Jamie Shipley. Jamie is the first point of contact for HOA questions. She can answer many questions that new residents have with HOA website logins, keys to the pool area, charging authorization for the Grill, and much more. All homeowners and renters should stop by and meet Jamie. It’s important that renters stop to see Jamie so that they can get a renter’s card, which they need to be able to use the fitness center and indoor pool. Renters can also have access to the HOA website, but they need to see Jamie first.
The month after a homeowner closes on their home, a welcome email is sent from the Newcomer Welcome group that includes important and timely information, including the SBR Settler’s Guide, a handbook with key facts, along with several attachments to assist a new resident. Next, a resident volunteer will call or send an email or text message to extend a welcome and answer questions you may have. Finally, there is a newcomer gathering to which all new homeowners and renters are invited and at which photos of homeowners are taken for the Roundup newspaper. If you have lost or not seen the welcome email with its attachments, simply email [email protected] or [email protected] for another copy. The volunteer in each unit who will be contacting you will also have a copy of the email to share.
The group of Newcomer Welcome Volunteers consists of SBR residents who enjoy welcoming people to the community. They are active and enthusiastically involved with many of the clubs and organizations. You might even meet the volunteer at the Creative Arts & Technology Center, on the pickleball court, or at a blood drive. You will find our volunteers are a reason SaddleBrooke Ranch is a special place to live.
Welcome newcomers!
