A topic that is very much being explored these days is Mindfulness. Mindfulness has shown to be a scientifically valid method leading to a reduction in stress and an increase in overall happiness. Mindfulness was first introduced to the world some 2,500 years ago through the practice and teachings associated with Buddhism. To develop an understanding of both Mindfulness and the related topic of Buddhism it is necessary to explore these topics both intellectually and experientially.
A great way to do this is to read and to discuss what you have read with people who have similar interests.
