The 2018 Alzheimer’s Walk

Florence and Ross Messer

Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease which destroys minds robbing people of their memory and quality of life. Over five million people suffer from this deadly disease in America and that number will grow unless we can find a cure. Hoping to aid in the search for such a cure, hundreds of people marched in Reid Park on November 10, 2018 and tens of thousands of dollars were raised. SaddleBrooke Ranch was well represented by the SBR Memories Matter Team. A dozen residents walked and a total of $6,447 was raised. Our hope is to march next year with the first survivors, carrying beautiful white flowers in their honor.
