The SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Technology Club now has more than 250 members with over 30 added just this year. Our goal is to pass 300 members by the end of 2022 and ultimately to be larger than the SBR Pickleball Association, which would be quite a feat!
Why the surge in growth? Take for example the April 29 presentation by NASA engineer John Kelly. Approximately 70 people attended John’s great talk on NASA’s Flight Opportunities Program and its impact on low orbit technologies that are advancing our quest to return to the moon and ultimately to Mars. These special events, in addition to our classes and one-on-one problem-solving assistance in our Tech Room, are getting more folks to join and take advantage of Tech Club offerings.
