On the beautiful mornings of Nov. 7 and 8, the ladies of the SBR Women’s Golf Association (SBRWGA) held its 10th annual Club Championship Tournament. Ladies 70+ years of age were automatically included in the Senior Club Championship bracket. Winners of the tournament were decided based on the gross combined scores over the two days of play. Forty-six ladies participated in the tournament.
For the sixth year in a row, Jean Cheszek was the prestigious club champion. She completed the two-day tournament with an impressive gross score of 164. Jean shot a steady 82 both days.
Karen Jordan won the Senior Club Championship. Karen shot a gross 86 on the first day and returned on day two to shoot 85 for a total gross score of 171. Congratulations Karen!
