On April 9, the Catalina Mountain Elks took 25 children shopping for Easter and school clothes. We were able to purchase $140 per child in clothes, plus they each received an Easter basket, toys, school supplies, and chocolate bunnies.
On their way back to school, each child received a fruit drink and animal crackers to tide them over until lunch. At their school, Roadrunner Elementary, we provided them with lunch and drinks that day.
Seeing 25 smiling faces at the end of the day was precious.
