Piano lessons are offered Saturdays, Jan. 8 through Feb. 26, 2022, in the LaVista Room. There will be eight group lessons.
Piano I: 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Piano II: 3:30 to 5 p.m. (start on page 60 of the lesson book)
Did you always want to learn to read music? Well, this is the class for you! All you need is:
1. To bring your smile to try something new!
2. A keyboard at home on which to practice.
3. To bring only your book to the first class: Adult all-in-one Piano Course Level 1 by Alfred (purchased from Amazon).
You will learn just as fast as private lessons. Instruction includes learning note names, correct fingering, rhythm drills, and music theory. You will be amazed how fast you will read notes and have a great time with others who are in the same situation.

Lessons are taught by Carla Marquardt, who has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and more than 35 years of experience teaching music.
