Yes, it is that time of year again! Another opportunity to make this new year the best year ever! It’s a fact that as we age … ugh … we lose a lot of things … like muscle, mass, strength, and function. Muscle mass starts decreasing 3% to 8% per decade after age 30. The rate of decline is even higher after age 60. Unfortunately, it is sad but true! The good news is, it is never too late to gain some of these things back! One way to achieve this is by starting a fitness program. Whether it is simply going to the gym and walking on the treadmill, taking advantage of our circuit equipment, or taking a fitness class. Best of all is what you can gain—a younger feeling and a healthier self!
