Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels, combining elements of badminton, tennis, table tennis and volleyball. It is played on a short court with a hard paddle and a whiffle ball. Founded in the 1960s, it has become one of the fastest growing sports in America. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. The USA Pickleball Association estimates there are now over 100,000 players actively playing pickleball.
