SBR ARTwalk Artists
The pottery wheels are spinning, the paint is flowing on the canvas, the paper is quilling, the beads are forming lovely jewelry, the wood shop is abuzz, and cameras are clicking as the SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) artists are preparing for the Spring SBR ARTwalk Studio Tour. This event has become one of the most popular events at the Ranch. The spring dates are Friday, April 5, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Twice a year, resident artists open their home studios to our community and to visitors from the surrounding areas to show and sell their artwork. The quality of artistry made by our residents is amazing. Many move to SBR with great talent in art, but numerous residents tap into a creative side they had not explored before, ending with such beautiful work when attending classes from the various clubs.
An incredible variety of personalized items will be exhibited in various mediums, such as glasswork; photography; fine art painting; paper quilling; lapidary and jewelry; pottery, ceramics, and sculpture; sewing and quilting; needlepoint, woodworking; and paper. It’s definitely a feast for the eyes, and SBR ARTwalk patrons will find numerous gifts to enhance their home décor or to gift to friends and family.
We say an art walk, but patrons can walk, bike, drive, or whiz around in their electric carts to visit the various home studios and art center.
By the first of April, the SBR ARTwalk map and artist studio directory will be available at the Ranch House HOA Desk near the Sol Ballroom, the La Hacienda Club entrance counter, and at the front gate entrance from the greeters.
Patrons may also download the map and directory from the SBR Facebook page or the new SBR ArtWalk Artists Studio Tour SaddleBrooke Ranch public Facebook page.
Don’t miss this amazing SBR event! Come meet the artists, acknowledge their talents, and of course, make one of their creations your own. Friends and family are welcome. The SBR ARTwalk is open to the public.
The ARTwalk Artists grand event is sponsored by SBRanch Realty, Doug and Melanie Sedam.
