In May, Kim Ahlgrim-Heine received her certification by International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) to rate for the advancement of pickleball players into rating levels of 3.0 and 3.5. This is considered a CRS4 certification. She offers Saddlebrooke Ranch Pickleball Association (SBRPA) members the rating sessions on Thursdays. However, she willingly works with ratees to find a time of week that works best for them. Kim chooses from SBRPA members who have been rated a 3.0 (or 3.5 accordingly) by either IPTPA or USA Pickleball to be a “control player” in the ghost doubles portion of each rating session. SBRPA is pleased to have her help in member testing, alongside Rudy Dominguez, who has been doing certified ratings for almost a year. There is a huge convenience of having ratings done onsite here at the Ranch.
