Chilly, windy and misty weather in April often greeted the Ranchette Putters as they began their weekly rounds of putting. The club however overcame weather obstacles and takes pride in announcing this month’s winners for the most holes in one (six or more) and the first, second and third lowest average scores.
Five ladies rose to the weekly challenges in April and recorded some great gross scores. The third lowest averages were turned in by Mary Schlacter and Evie Thompson with 39.000. Denise Sandoval landed in second place with an average of 37.667. Stellar putting performances put Doris Carlin and Sherrie Hawk on top with averages of 37.000.
Sinking the ball with one stroke takes a lot of talent and these ladies received prizes for their six holes-in-one: Linda Nicholson and Sandi Fredrickson.
After adjusting raw scores for handicaps, the club is also pleased to announce the net winners for April: Debbie Norwood was third with a net average of 38.000; Linda Nicholson was second with a net average of 37.700 and Sandi Fredrickson came in first with a net average of 37.633.
Ranchette Putters congratulates our April winners and invites all female residents of SBR to join us for a fun weekly event. Check out our bulletin board by the Pro Shop for more information or contact Cindy Watkins at [email protected].
