The SaddleBrooke Ranch Tennis Association (SBRTA) and Sue Cook and Carol Mihal delivered another successful charity event in February, and the American Cancer Society again came out on top as we raised more than $2,500!
The event was a bit of a marathon requiring each mixed doubles team to arrange several matches around people’s busy schedules. But by Feb. 24 we were able to enjoy a dance party at the Sol Ballroom, where the winners were declared and given well-earned prizes.
It would be remiss not to mention Sue’s daughter, Dr. Jennifer Cook, for generously giving her time and sponsoring our party! As a heart surgeon, Dr. Cook was also able to provide great medical insight.
